Estimate
The palate shimmers with vigor and race on the entry – beautifully integrated oak, an engaging silver thread of acidity and a mineral-rich finish that is paradoxically both elegant and intense.
Juicy and less voluminous than the Charmes, but still with a glyceral richness and lovely lift to its orange and lemon flavors. Brisk acidity and a dusty fresh herb component give the finish a distinctly tactile quality.
Quite smoky on the nose and then great richness on the palate. Fab purity...a lovely wine. Such persistence.
...palate coating medium-bodied flavors as there is plenty of dry extract that adds a real sense of volume to the mid-palate. There is really lovely intensity and detail to the lemony and bone dry finish that is presently notably austere.
