Estimate
...explodes from the glass with sumptuous dark red fruit, French oak, smoke, licorice and tar. The combination of old vines, a rich vintage and the generous use of French oak results in a big, full-bodied wine loaded with fruit.
Ripe plum, chocolate and mocha on the slightly roasted nose. Broad, plump and sweet... The dark cherry flavors shows an almost liqueur-like aspect. Finishes with substantial dusty tannins.
Beautiful mid ruby with beginning of orange rim. Again, as in all the Corino Barolos, the sweet glove of vanilla and oak. This is certainly not a traditionalist. Huge concentration and length.
