...beautifully pure nose of creme de cassis, asphalt, and a hint of forest floor. Having shed much of its tannin, it is a round, medium to full-bodied, elegant Margaux already revealing considerable complexity.
Love the cedar and blackberry aromas in this. Medium- to full-bodied, with plenty of berry, toasted oak and currant character. A modern wine, showing lots of new wood, but also a serious amount of fruit. Finest Boyd in years.
