Poised between the lighter wines of the northern Beaune vineyards and the fuller southern vineyards, this premier cru has produced a concentrated wine with tannins that will propel it into long aging. Rich, smoky fruits and juicy acidity add to the ripe, full character of this wine.
...bouquet of ripe cherries, blackcurrants, ripe citrus and wood smoke. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent, with an ample core of fruit, satiny tannins and vibrant acids, concluding with a nicely delineated, mouthwatering finish.
Lifted and pretty. Lively fruit combined with a dusty dry texture which gives a kind of elegance. Acidity is marked here as the fruit is quite light.
