RATINGS

95Wine Spectator

Enticing from start to finish, this supple red features black cherry, raspberry and spice flavors meshing seamlessly with the solid structure. Builds nicely on the palate, finishing with an aftertaste of mineral.

93Stephen Tanzer

Candied red berries on the nose. Large-scaled, broad and sweet but with harmonious acidity and a firm tannic spine giving shape and energy to the flavors of raspberry, spices and vanillin oak.

...notably ripe liqueur-like nose of plum, cassis and dark berry fruit also offers up notes of spice and warm earth. There is plenty of mid-palate concentration to the velvety and suave medium-bodied flavors that brim with dry extract on the balanced, mouth coating and imposingly persistent finish.

Lively, racy... Pretty. Quite lacy.

The vineyard varies in elevation from 250 to 300 meters, and the terroir includes significant clay as well as thin, rocky soil. TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, Grand Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
