RATINGS

93-95The Wine Advocate

...poker-faced black fruit hand in hand with tertiary aromas. The palate is very refined with silky smooth tannins. This is very harmonious with impressive weight and sensuality towards the finish that fans out with more precision and grace...retaining tight control at every moment. Excellent.

92-95Burghound.com

...elegant nose offers up notes of menthol, spice and very fresh red currant and wild raspberries that are set off by moderate wood influence. There is excellent richness to the mouth coating big-bodied flavors that brim with plenty of dry extract as well as solid power and muscle on the gorgeously long finale.

91-93Vinous / IWC

...wraps around the palate with silky red berries, spices, crushed flowers and mint... Feminine, gracious and a bit ethereal in style...very nicely balanced.

TYPE

Red Wine, Pinot Noir, Grand Cru

This red wine is relatively light and can pair with a wide variety of foods. The grape prefers cooler climates and the wine is most often associated with Burgundy, Champagne and the U.S. west coast. Regional differences make it nearly as fickle as it is flexible.
