Wow! This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is a blockbuster. There are 375 cases of it, but at this quality level one wishes there were 3,375 cases. A dense purple color is followed by a big, sweet bouquet of graphite, black currants, camphor, licorice and a hint of spring flowers. Rich, pure, gorgeously textured and full-bodied, it was a revelation in my tastings, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Offers a Bordeaux-like structure in terms of weight, density and flavor profile, with classic cigar box, cedar, tobacco leaf, dried herb and crushed rock flavors, matched to a mix of cherry and currant notes on the finish. Focused and harmonious.
