Richer, suppler and fleshier than the Charmes; broad and fine-grained but still quite dry in the mid-palate. Best today on the rising, slightly bitter-edged finish, which shows solid acidity and very good length. 91
Peach, apple and honey flavors are framed with vanilla, nutmeg and clove notes in this ample, fleshy white. Moderate intensity and acidity keep this pulsing through the finish.
A mildly exotic nose of spiced pear, apricot and intense floral notes leads to rich and beautifully well-detailed flavors that exhibit discreet notes of minerality and a hint of bitterness on the palate staining finish.
