First Growth Bordeaux

In 1855, four producers (Latour, Margaux, Haut-Brion and Lafite Rothschild) were officially classified as the best of the best in Bordeaux. In 1973, Mouton Rothschild joined their rank as a “Premier Cru.” While there are many spectacular Bordeaux reds, these will always be cellar stars.
