Dana Estates was started by Hi Sang Lee, a South Korean businessman and wine importer. Lee built an impressive new winery and named his enterprise Dana, Sanskrit for “spirit of generosity.” He also hired acclaimed winemaker Philippe Melka.
Maison Leroy is often called the greatest estate in Burgundy. Its wines are legendary. Robert Parker has called Leroy’s wines “the reference point for Burgundy… among the noblest and purest expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Burgundy.”
Château Talbot is a Fourth Growth estate with a Third Growth reputation. It is owned by sisters Lorraine Cordier and Nancy Bignon-Cordier. The blend is generally 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
