Domaine Jacques Frederic Mugnier owns parcels in the prestigious Musigny vineyard, and its famous wines come from that and other vineyards. The estate has been in the Mugnier family since 1863 and is noted for its Grand Crus.

Chateau Montelena is one of Napa Valley’s oldest estate vineyards, but discovered new fame when its 1973 Chardonnay took first place in the 1976 Tasting of Paris.

Domaine Marquis d’Angerville was one of the first estates in Burgundy to bottle and market its own wines, and it remains a winemaking legend. Burgundy writer Clive Coates notes that “Angerville wines are exemplary … elegant and intense.”
