Domaine Jacques Frederic Mugnier owns parcels in the prestigious Musigny vineyard, and its famous wines come from that and other vineyards. The estate has been in the Mugnier family since 1863 and is noted for its Grand Crus.
Château Ausone is considered one of the finest wines of the right bank. It enjoys an outstanding location on a southwestern slope near the medieval town of St.-Emilion, making a fraction of the wine made by most of its larger neighbors.
Produttori del Barbaresco is a cooperative founded in 1958 to help grape growers promote their wines. Today each family in the coop grows grapes but the award-winning wines are made at a central winery. They are gold standards for the appellation.
