Tusk Estates is one of Napa Valley’s 21st century cult wines. Founded in 2007 by a trio of entrepreneurs with deep ties to fine food and wine, Tusk produces a mere 150 cases a year. One of the founders is famed French winemaker Philippe Melka.
In 1992 Ann Colgin left a career at Sotheby’s to immerse herself in Napa Valley winemaking. Working with legendary winemaker Helen Turley, Colgin’s wines became California Cult Cabs. Robert Parker calls them “some of the world’s greatest wines…”
