Bollinger is one of France’s most prestigious and historical Champagne estates. It was a famous exporter in the late 19th century, and today is a gold standard for the region. More than 70% of Bollinger’s vineyards are grand cru or premier cru.
Spottswoode Vineyard & Winery was founded 1972 by the Novak family, who produced their first Cabernet Sauvignon in 1982. Spottswoode Cabs are widely admired, and the family-run estate also produces Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel.
Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is the eldest son of Marc Colin, who 40 years ago started the domaine that would become Marc Colin et Fils. In 2006 Pierre-Yves struck out on his own and today makes highly regarded, mostly white, Burgundies.
