Domaine Jacques Frederic Mugnier owns parcels in the prestigious Musigny vineyard, and its famous wines come from that and other vineyards. The estate has been in the Mugnier family since 1863 and is noted for its Grand Crus.
Georges Roumier was founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier and is now run by the family’s second and third generation winemakers. Robert Parker notes that the estate “is undoubtedly one of the finest sources of classic, long-lived red burgundies.”
Domaine Faiveley was founded in 1825 and generations of Faiveleys worked to shape not only their own business but also the reputation of Burgundian wines. Today Favieley makes premier wines, including the monopole Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley.
