Maison Leroy is often called the greatest estate in Burgundy. Its wines are legendary. Robert Parker has called Leroy’s wines “the reference point for Burgundy… among the noblest and purest expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Burgundy.”
Created by Australia’s first couple of winemaking, it is a winery of exuberant reds and adventuresome whites. The term “mollydooker” is slang for being left handed, which both winemakers are.
Maison Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s most venerable estates, founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin. Today it owns many prestigious vineyards. Drouhin’s wines are gold standards of modern Burgundian winemaking.
