The namesake 12th century tower stands in the courtyard. The Kressman family has been managing the estate for four generations, and designed the labels in the 1930s.

Château Talbot is a Fourth Growth estate with a Third Growth reputation. It is owned by sisters Lorraine Cordier and Nancy Bignon-Cordier. The blend is generally 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.

Nicholas Allen Wines of California has deep roots in Bordeaux. The estate founder is Nicholas Allen whose great grandfather purchased the legendary Château Haut-Brion. Allen marries French winemaking to California terroir.
