Château Clinet one of the smallest and most prestigious Pomerol estates. Robert M. Parker Jr. has noted that the estate has “a magnificent terroir…” and that Clinet “continues to produce one of the finest Pomerols.”
Chateau Pavie is one of four St.-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classe A estates owned by Gerard Perse, It has three terroirs with unique microclimates, and produces wines that rival Cheval Blanc.
Château Montrose, a Second Growth Bordeaux, was named for a “mount of roses,” or a little hill of blooming heather that inspired the estate’s 18th century owners. Today the estate boasts state-of-the-art winemaking that has earned 100-pt scores.
