Domaine Jacques Frederic Mugnier owns parcels in the prestigious Musigny vineyard, and its famous wines come from that and other vineyards. The estate has been in the Mugnier family since 1863 and is noted for its Grand Crus.
Domaine Ponsot was founded in 1872 when William Ponsot returned from the Franco-Prussian war and bought an estate in Morey-Saint-Denis. Today the estate is one of Burgundy’s most distinctive and makes highly regarded premier cru and village wines.
Dana Estates was started by Hi Sang Lee, a South Korean businessman and wine importer. Lee built an impressive new winery and named his enterprise Dana, Sanskrit for “spirit of generosity.” He also hired acclaimed winemaker Philippe Melka.
