La Sirena was started in 1994 by Heidi Barrett, one of Napa Valley’s most admired winemakers. Barrett is famous as a former winemaker for Screaming Eagle. As a nod to her passion for scuba diving, her own label means “mermaid” in Spanish.

Petrus has no official classification, nor is there a château on its Pomerol property. But it needs no introduction. It is one of the most sought after Bordeaux wines, today made entirely of Merlot.

Founders Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer produce some of the world’s most highly rated and complex Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. Marcassin is their own Russian River Valley haven.
