Hundred Acre is owned by Jayson Woodbridge, a winemaker who has been defying conventional winemaking wisdom for years. He founded Hundred Acre wineries in California and Australia, and makes palate-pleasing, single-vineyard wines in both places.
Aubert produces what many consider California’s first “cult Chardonnay.” Mark Aubert’s single vineyard Calistoga wines are regularly compared to Grand Cru Burgundies. The winery also produces spectacular Pinot Noir. Aubert production is very limited.
