Realm Cellars was founded in 2002 when wine enthusiast Juan Mercado bought a load of Napa Valley grapes and started making wine. Today the estate sources from “the realm” of Napa’s best vineyards and produces wines that earn stellar reviews.
Saxum Vineyards leapt into the limelight when its 2007 James Berry Vineyards wine was named #1 Wine of 2010 by Wine Spectator. Saxum’s Rhone style blends are “Central Coast Rhone Rangers.” This family-owned winery offers five delicious cuvées.
Château Léoville-Barton takes its name from a 19th century owner, an Irishman named Hugh Barton. Today his descendants own and run the estate, which is known for the relatively small amount of Merlot in its very well-reviewed wines.
