Château Clinet one of the smallest and most prestigious Pomerol estates. Robert M. Parker Jr. has noted that the estate has “a magnificent terroir…” and that Clinet “continues to produce one of the finest Pomerols.”
Georges Roumier was founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier and is now run by the family’s second and third generation winemakers. Robert Parker notes that the estate “is undoubtedly one of the finest sources of classic, long-lived red burgundies.”
Perrier-Jouet, in the heart of Champagne, was founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas-Marie Perrier-Jouet. One of Perrier-Jouet’s distinctive features is its Art Nouveau-influenced label, which is still used for the estate’s most prestigious cuvées.
