Le Pianelle is a young winery with a quickly growing reputation for elegant, terroir-driven wines. Found in 2004 by a pair of wine industry, veterans the estate’s flagship wine is Bramaterra, a robust blend of Nebbiolo, Croatina and Vespolina.
A Grand Cru of St.-Emilion, Quinault L’Enclos is produced in a 17th century estate. LVMH’s Bernard Arnault and Albert Frere purchased it in 2008, revived the wine and now produce 60,000 bottles a year.
Spottswoode Vineyard & Winery was founded 1972 by the Novak family, who produced their first Cabernet Sauvignon in 1982. Spottswoode Cabs are widely admired, and the family-run estate also produces Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel.
