Taylor Fladgate, often shortened to Taylor’s, is one of the Douro Valley’s most venerable Port producers, having purchased real estate there in the late 17th century. It is still owned by descendants of the founders and produces only Port.

Château Palmer is a Third Growth Bordeaux with a First Growth profile. Robert M. Parker Jr. has noted that “Palmer can be as profound as any of the first growths… (and in some vintages) Palmer can be better than many of them.”

Paul Jaboulet Aine is a legendary name in the Rhone Valley. Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, it is today owned by a Swiss financier who continues to produce the estate’s much lauded red and white wines.
