Les Clos de Paulilles is a 200 year old ninety-hectares estate located in the village of Anse de Paulilles and traversing the appellations of Collioure and Banyuls in the Roussillon region.

Kongsgaard Wines was founded in 1996 by John Kongsgaard, and the winery’s stellar reputation comes from its Chardonnays, which regularly win praise for their resemblance to fine Burgundian Chardonnays. The estate also makes outstanding reds.

Château Beychevelle traces its history to the Middle Ages, when its wine was considered so outstanding it was shipped to England and Germany. The wine still impresses. Robert Parker notes that “Beychevelle wines are generally soft and smooth…”
