Château Clerc-Milon was purchased in 1970 by the Baron Philippe de Rothschild, who spent several decades modernizing the estate and improving the quality of the wine. Today the estate is run by the Baron’s daughter.
Hundred Acre is owned by Jayson Woodbridge, a winemaker who has been defying conventional winemaking wisdom for years. He founded Hundred Acre wineries in California and Australia, and makes palate-pleasing, single-vineyard wines in both places.
