Lynch-Bages began with a 17th century love story. An Irishman fell in love with Bordeaux wines and a woman who lived in the village. Together they established the renowned Pauillac estate.

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is the eldest son of Marc Colin, who 40 years ago started the domaine that would become Marc Colin et Fils. In 2006 Pierre-Yves struck out on his own and today makes highly regarded, mostly white, Burgundies.
