Maison Albert Bichot is a sixth-generation negociant/producer in Burgundy. Albert Bichot was awarded “Red Winemaker of the Year” in 2004 by the International Wine Challenge and won “White Winemaker of the Year” in 2011 from the same organization.
Like many of France’s historic producers, Domaine Comte de Georges de Vogue has been in the same family for more than 500 years. Comte de Vogue’s premier wine is Musigny Vieilles Vignes, though the domaine also make Chardonnay and other Pinot Noirs.
Founders Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer produce some of the world’s most highly rated and complex Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. Marcassin is their own Russian River Valley haven.
