Château Canon La Gaffeliere is one of six French wine estates owned by Vignobles Comtes von Neipperg, German aristocrats who were military leaders and winemakers in Germany as early as the 12th century. Robert Parker calls it a “superb” estate.
Château Cheval Blanc is a Premier Grand Cru Classe A of St.-Emilion. Cheval Blanc won medals at prestigious international exhibitions in London and Paris in the mid-19th century and those medals are still depicted on Cheval Blanc bottle labels.
Domaine Tollot-Beaut & Fils was founded in 1880 and has been bottling under its own label since 1921. Today the estate is run by a trio of Tollot cousins, all fifth-generation vignerons, and is admired for its classic Burgundian winemaking.
