Hamel Family Wines was founded by Pamela and George Hamel, Jr in 2006.

Promontory is the latest winemaking venture from Bill Harlan, the entrepreneur and wine impresario who founded Harlan Estate in the late 1980s. Promontory is a Cabernet Sauvignon blend sourced from an Oakville vineyard.

Family owned since 1973, Phelps is best known for Insignia. Their flagship was awarded Wine Spectator’s “Wine of the Year” in 2005 and is regarded as a benchmark for California winemaking.
