Terre Nere in Castelnuovo dell’Abate was founded in 1997 by Pasquale Vallone. Starting with just 7.5 acres of vineyards, the estate now includes 25 vineyard acres on a gently sloping hillside near historic Castello della Velona. The estate produces Brunello di Montalcino, a Riserva, and Rosso di Montalcino. Terre Nere’s wines often receive scores in the mid-90s from reviewers.
