Tenuta Rocca

Tenuta Rocca is in Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of Langhe. The 37-acre estate is today run by the same family that has owned and operated it for generations. Bruno Rocca and his brother Gianni took the estate over from their father in the 1980s and today Gianni’s son Andrea is managing the estate. Tenuta Rocca is best known for its Barolo, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto, though it also makes Chardonnay and red blends. Gambero Rosso writes that “the estate’s style is very distinctive with wines that show generous and full in youth but are more than capable of revealing depth and elegance after an appropriate period of maturation.”
