Robert Pecota

Robert Pecota Winery was founded by Robert Pecota in 1978. In the early 1970s he was a San Francisco-based coffee buyer for Hills Brothers and MJB Coffee, but a few years later he took a job buying grapes for Beringer Winery and then bought 40 acres to start his own winery. He sold that winery to Jackson Family Estates in 2006. He then bought 18 acres of vineyards and started Robert Pecota Winery, where he focused on Petite Sirah, Muscat and Cabernet Sauvignon.
