Dyer Vineyard is owned by Bill and Dawnine Dyer, a couple with formidable backgrounds in winemaking. Bill has been a winemaker at Sterling Vineyards, Miramar Torres Estate, Frog’s Leap and may other producers since the 1980s. Dawnine was for 25 years winemaker at Domaine Chandon. Dyer Vineyards on Diamond Mountain is planted to Bordeaux varieties and the estate makes a single luxury Cabernet Sauvignon, which is generally available only through mailing list.
