Drinkward Peschon

Drinkward Peschon started its commercial life with a 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon. The artisanal venture is a partnership between Lisa Drinkward, vintner of Behrens Family Wines, and Francoise Peschon, winemaker at Vine Hill Ranch and Araujo. The partners source their grapes from Napa Valley and focus on Cabernet Sauvignon. The women, both mothers, call their wine Entre Deux Meres, which means “between two mothers.” They met through their children and found they shared a similar philosophy about wine and winemaking. Robert M. Parker Jr. has called Drinkward Peschon a “beautiful Bordeaux-styled red…”
