Daniel Chopin-Groffier was a 20-acre estate in Comblanchien. Daniel Chopin was for decades a much-admired winemaker with parcels in Clos-de-Vougeot, the Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Les Chaignots, and village wines. Chopin retired some years ago and the estate passed to daughter and son-in-law. The former estate is now part of Chavenet Chopin Nuits St. Georges.
