Cramoisi, French for crimson, is derived from the delightful crimson clover that blankets the vineyard every spring. The idea for Cramoisi Vineyard started in 2011 when Sofia and Ryan McKay stumbled upon the best ground to grow Pinot Noir at a property for sale in Oregon that had previously farmed hazelnuts, cherries, walnuts and prunes. Sofia and Ryan immediately sold their home in North Vancouver, BC and moved to Oregon to pursue their love and passion for wine growing and farming. Cramoisi Vineyard is located in the Dudee HIlls AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley, and is free from pesticides and herbicides. Every bottle honors and delivers Sofia and Ryan's passion, from soil to glass.
