Clos des Jacobins

Clos des Jacobins is a Grand Cru Classe of St.-Emilion. The 21-acre estate was established in the 17th century and is today owned by Gerard Frydman. The winemaker is Hubert de Bouard, who also makes wine at Château Angelus. The estate is planted to 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. About 20,000 bottles are produced annually and the second wine is Prieur des Jacobins, with an annual production of up to 10,000 bottles.
