Clos Badon Thunevin is a 20-acre estate in St.-Emilion nestled between the vineyards of Pavie and Larcis Ducasse. The owners are Jean-Luc Thunevin and his wife Murielle Andraud, and the vineyards are planted to 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. About 1,200 cases are produced annually. Thunevin owns numerous wine estates in France, including Chateau Valandraud, and he is closely associated with the “garagiste” wine making movement in France. He also has a negociant business.
