Château de Marbuzet

Château Marbuzet in St.-Estèphe has roots in the 18th century, when it was owned by Antoine Domenger, the estate manager of Latour. The estate changed hands over the centuries, and it was for many decades owned by family of Bordeaux wine merchants. The estate is known for its magnificent château, which is on a hillside facing the Gironde river. The 42-acre estate is a Cru Bourgeois Exceptional. Robert M. Parker Jr. has called the Bordeaux "a sound, reliable wine that is well made, very refined, and accessible."
