Cavus Vineyards is a two-acre vineyard in the Stag’s Leap district owned by Darryl and Laurel Browman. Darryl Browman is president of a San Francisco development company. Cavus’ debut wine was a 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon. Cavus makes just one wine in small amounts of about 200 cases annually. The winemaker is Dave Phinney, winemaker at Orin Swift, and the vineyard manager is Jim Barbour.
