Burgess

Burgess Cellars was founded in 1972 in Napa Valley by Tom Burgess. Burgess was a pilot from Ohio, first in the military and later a commercial pilot, who developed a taste for European wines. Today the 110-acre estate at the foot of Howell Mountain is run by Tom and his son Steve. Burgess makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah.
