Harris Estate Vineyards in the Calistoga AVA of Napa Valley. The winery owns 48 acres of vineyards divided into three parcels. It was established in 1997 when Mike and Treva Harris bought a wooded property that had once been a school for boys. Harris, a former pediatric dentist, is a San Francisco native with an interest in wine. The winemaker is Thomas Rivers Brown, who has also made wine at Turley as well as consulting for numerous Napa Valley producers. Harris Estate makes primarily single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
