...the 2006 Grange has been added to my list of favorite recent vintages...concentrated fruit is densely coiled around the firm grainy tannins and very crisp acidity...promises something very special in the years to come...
..strikingly complex array of black characters..licorice, tar, bitter chocolate, blackberry, prune and plum. The tannins are prominent..on the very long palate, but they are in balance with the fruit and oak of an extremely powerful Grange.
A balanced and intense red, with sliced meat, blackberries and spices. Full body, with silky and refine tannins and hints of new wood. Sweet tobacco and plums.
Deep mulberry colour. Intense and tightly wound. Nowhere near ready but there is lots tucked in here.
