Reductive aromas of smoke and earth give way to bright cherry and spice flavors in this red, with lovely texture. Though not powerful, there's a density and texture to the tannins that bodes well for the future.

Creamy and silky in the mouth, but given shape and lift by lovely vinosity...The suave tannins are nicely buffered by fruit. This round, rather full wine has the balance and stuffing to support a slow evolution in bottle.
There is good volume to the lush, round and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess a moderately firm tannic spine as well as excellent depth and length.
Lip-smacking, satisfying nose. Intense nose with quite a tough end. Just a hint of beetroot. Dry finish. Needs time.
