Distinctly blacker on the nose than the Amoureuses, offering scents of blackberry, blueberry and peony. Wonderfully sweet and energetic on the palate, showing terrific stuffing but coming across as tightly coiled today.
60% whole bunch...Strong gaminess on the nose, and density. Quite showy on the nose – purple fruits and real tension...Solid and earnest. Sweet and rich and very flattering. Lots of purple fruit, a solid pleasure.
