RATINGS

93Vinous / IWC

Discreet orange and honey aromas are lifted by a lavender topnote...juicy palate shows lovely perfumed lift and structure to the lemon, lime and orange peel flavors...tactile, stony finish displays impressive rising length and strong citrus character.

92-94The Wine Advocate

Bright citrus, pears, white flowers and crushed rocks are all woven together in a fabric of notable class and elegance. Cool, incisive notes reappear to frame the exquisite finish.

17Jancis Robinson

Extremely mineral. Racy. Very refined. Precisely sculpted and still pretty dry on the finish.

PRODUCER

Antoine Jobard

Domaine Antoine Jobard is a 15-acre estate in Meursault, Burgundy. Burgundy expert Clive Coates has called it “one of the great Meursault estates.” And Robert M. Parker Jr. notes that the estate “has long been known for crafting clear, complex, age-worthy Meursault.” Francois Jobard still works in the operation but the name on the bottles now is that of his son, Antoine. Known for their Meursault, they also have parcels in Puligny-Montrachet. About 3,000 cases are produced annually.

REGION

France, Burgundy, Côte d'Or, Côte de Beaune, Meursault, Les Poruzots

Les Poruzots is a 29-acre Premier Cru vineyard in Meursault, in Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune. Located to the north of Les Genevrieres, Les Poruzots wines are noted for their well-rounded, fruit forward characters. Admired producers of Les Poruzots include Bouchard Pere et Fils, Louis Jadot, Jean-Paul Gauffroy, Francois Jobard and Olivier Leflaive Freres.

TYPE

White Wine, Chardonnay, 1er (Premier) Cru

This white variety originated in Burgundy, but is now grown around the world. Its flexibility to thrive in many regions translates to wide flavor profile in the market. Chardonnay is commonly used in making Champagne and sparkling wines.
