RATINGS

95The Wine Advocate

...loaded with baked white peaches, kumquat, honeycomb, lime peel and citrus blossom aromas on the nose...light-bodied palate...very long, energetic finish.

94Wine Enthusiast

Waxy lemon peel highlights a fleshy, expressive and lifted experience that is both complex and immensely pleasurable, finishing in floral aromas.

REGION

United States, California, Sonoma, Sonoma Coast

Sonoma Coast AVA runs from San Pablo Bay in the south to Mendocino County in the north. It includes 7,000 vineyard acres and earned AVA status in 1987. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean means it gets double the rainfall of nearby inland appellations and the ocean gives the appellation a relatively cool climate. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir can thrive in these conditions, and there are numerous producers making critically acclaimed Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

TYPE

White Wine, Riesling

This white variety originated in Germany. It’s known for its strong flowery aromas and high acidity. Please note Rieslings can have dramatic differences as the grape can be used to make dry, semi-sweet, sweet and sparkling wines.
