An attractively floral cabernet with violet and dried-rose notes, as well as dried leaves, forest wood, mint and wet earth. The fruit sits in the blackcurrant, blueberry and purple-cherry zone. A succulent palate with ripe but fine, long tannins, carrying plenty of purple and blue-fruit flavors. Classically Australian in character and delivered with an impressive eye to elegance.
Vibrant, spice-tinged cherry, black currant, licorice and succulent herb aromas are complemented by emerging mineral and floral nuances. Broad and fleshy on entry, offering bitter cherry, dark berry and fruitcake flavors and a sweet hint of chewing tobacco. The vanilla and spice notes drive a long, smoky finish that features rounded tannins and lingering suggestions of mocha and cracked pepper.
